industrial training

Boring . Boring . Boring

Yes, it was extremely boring on the first 2 days but when I started to get used to the tasks there, more tasks were given and I ended up learning quite alot of things I don't learn in lectures.

So, hows training in Lam Wah Ee hospital? Just work your ass off~ I'm not sure if I am lucky or not. I was placed at the busiest department for the first 2 weeks, the Biochemistry department. Lucky that I don't have to suffer that much after the 2 weeks and unlucky that I will really bored to death when I change to other departments. So far, my job is just to handle the blood samples and send them into the analyzing machines. Sounds easy? NO~ Damn alot of things to remember. This colour put here, that colour put there, got this mark put here, that mark put there......etc etc.

Anyway, the staffs in the hospitals are enable for 50% discount on the canteen food. So, 1 teh ais cost SIXTY CENTS!! So much cheaper! As average, every meal cost around 3 bucks, cheap la hor....

And, I need a part time job, anyone wanna hire me? Heee....

Semester Summary *super long post ahead*

I'm home~

Yea, been home since last Monday. I came home together with my fellow Dance Club friends. As some of them never been to Penang before, so, they stayed here for 3 days 2 nights and I, the-always-got-lost-in-Penang kid, became the tourist guide. Anyway, the trip was a nice one and I'm glad they had fun, hehhe despite getting lost several times. I'm kinda lazy to write about the trip so *click here* to link to our dear Joshua the MeiMei's blogspot. Well, he did a good job in writing that post, including ruining my image.

I will say this semester is a busy yet fun semester. Why? It's because, even though we're soooo busy rushing assignments, reports and never ending mid term tests, we still managed to squeeze out some time to have fun, then only regret when we did badly in the tests n exams. Heehee....

This semester's study leave was less tensed compared to last sem's. Partly because the house is not that empty and I wont feel so stress when I have people to talk to. Besides, baby and I also went to the tarc library to study. =)

I've also attened his convocation for graduating from diploma. It was also the day that I met with his parents. Scary man~ You have no idea how nervous I was. =S

This semester, 3 housemates moved in to our house. They turn out to be quite nice housemates, both of them are my roommates. We went for steamboat at Hometown.

We also had the chocloate fondue but it's a lil small for 5 of us to share. Hee...

During study leave was the Mid Autumn Celebration, we bought several paper lanterns and had some fun on that night. Our balcony was beautifully decorated with the multi coloured lanterns. Love it so much!

Besides, I finally managed to mingle around with my classmates. We had birthday celebrations and more going out of campus for lunch outings. Heee

After burning off barely a few kilocalories, we feed ourselves with these fattening, high cholesterol, high LDL food. Great~

Besides, I also had loads of fun with the fellow Dance Club peoples. Being with them means nothing but laughing and more laughing. It's either they are really funny or it's easy to make me laugh.

First of all, me and several of them went for Rishi's brother's wedding to perform a dance as well as to assist in ushering the guests.

Crazy~

Yet another craziness

2 of our members took part in the Inter Faculty Dance Battle organized by Sg Long campus. So, we went all the way to Sg Long to cheer for them. WooHoo....

We first had our early dinner at Old Town nearby. This picture was initially for girls only, but, somebody insists he is also a girl, so, we let "her" join into the picture lar...

Don't ask me why am I so happy, hehe...

I also managed to meet up with an old friend, Ying Xiang.

They did not let us down! Although they didn't managed to grab the winner prize, they grabbed the "People's Choice Award", which is really good enough already. Amos and Joshua, you guys rocks! *Claps* And I had sore throat and fever after cheering for them. Great~

Oh~ We also went for the Utar Model Audition. Me, Sih Han, Nicole, Siok Yee and MeiMei went for fun and we were all selected for the photoshoot. LoL~ We practically made a fool of ourselves as there was so many professional models shooting with us too. Felt like we shouldn't have went for the audition. Huhu.....

OKAY! I'm finally done~ This post took me whole day to complate, due to the unstable connection at home. I know its a super duper long post but I enjoy writing it~ Hee....Anyway, next week I will start with my industrial training at Lam Wah Ee Hospital in Penang. I'm working 6 days a week for 11 weeks without salary. Yes you did not read wrongly, 3 months without salary!! Huhu....Sad la weii...Haih but I still have to go, and mum made me a new lab coat, a fitting lab coat~ So, bye bye to the days that I have to wear a oversized lab coat that made me looked like I'm wearing a black bin bag.

plain ramblings

YooooHoooo......I might as well just delete off this blog as I seldom, well, rarely even drop by here. Hehe. Thanks to the hectic uni life or should I just put it as pure laziness? Whichever one will do la.

It's 1.44am now and I'm still here, shivering from head to toe even though I am wearing jacket and the fan is not switched on, and, reading "somebody's" blog . So, today is the 6th day of the study leave and I spent my day micrococcus-ing, E.coli-ing and prinsip kewajipan-ing. OMG~ can someone just shoot me in the head? I'm bored!!! I thought I've escaped from BM and will never ever touch it again after i left high school but hell, I was so wrong! I had Pengajian Malaysia last semester and this semester I'm taking Pendidikan Moral. Well, hopefully this will be my last BM paper ever, EVER!

Will be back with a semester summary after the finals. So looking forward to the after-exam-excitements! The moment I step out of the exam hall, my schedule is packed until the 25th of Sept. WooHoo!
